Account Manager

Based on the North West Coast, Mick joined the Searson Buck Workforce Team in April 2005 to establish the North West Coast Branch.

Mick's position consists of working closely with the transport industry, local government and private businesses to assist with their labour hire requirements.  His success is evidenced by a solid range of clients and work outcomes for many people in blue collar roles across most sectors.

Prior to joining the recruitment and labour hire industry, Mick worked in the Transport and Logistics Industry, he comes from 33 years in the industry as a supervisor and manager. It is from this experience that Mick understands the importance of delivering a high level of customer service and the importance of recruiting the right people for Searson Buck's clients.

Jamie McClenaghan

Senior Account Manager

Based in Launceston, Jamie joined our Launceston operation in 2004 to assist our blue collar labour management services and now, as a senior member of staff, has an active role in securing and delivering business across the north of the state. He has enjoyed increasing success helping clients with the intricacies of the labour hire market and currently is servicing a wide range of employers in industrial and rural areas with staff ranging from entry level personnel to trade qualified and technical professionals.

Jamie's previous employment roles were customer service related and he is committed to client service and designing strategies and delivery methods to meet specific needs, often in areas where staff are not readily available or cost factors are key.  Jamie is currently undertaking relevant study to support his Human Resources career direction.

Manager Southern Operations, SearsonBuck Workforce

Diane is Manager of our Southern Labour Hire Workforce business with responsibility for meeting client needs for staff solutions in the "blue collar' area.  She also manages workplace safety across the business. 

Joining Searson Buck in 2002, her experience with us and twelve years in Human Resources generally, brings a wealth of experience to our operations and capacity to deliver our services.

Diane will graduate from her Masters of Business in mid 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education along with a Diploma of management.  She is also the Tasmanian representative on the RCSA (peak industry body) Vic/Tas workplace safety committee.

Diane enjoys managing projects which draw on her broad experience and engaging with clients to understand their needs and deliver often innovative solutions to meet them.

Mark joined our Workforce Division (industrial services - labour hire) in early 2009 and has quickly established himself as a valuable team member.  With five years of experience in the labour hire industry in Tasmania, Mark has a passion for delivering the best results for his clients, enjoying industrial relations and heavy industry including building and construction.  Mark's success can be attributed to his excellent communication skills and commitment to excellence, and importantly, ability to match the right person to the right job.

Director and Chief Operating Officer

Maurice has more than 30 years experience in accounting, finance and business management, along with significant experience in managing staff and company recruitment needs.

Educated in Tasmania, Maurice is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He initially worked as a partner in a local accounting firm prior to taking up a partnership with national accounting firm, Price Waterhouse, where he spent seven years.

For nine years Maurice held the position of Financial Controller on the Executive Management team with Loughrans Pty Ltd, Tasmania's largest retailer of electrical products, prior to its sale to Harvey Norman.

Maurice joined Searson Buck as Director and a part-owner in 1999.  He is responsible, along with fellow directors, for the overall strategic direction and success of the company, managing in particular the key financial indicators of the business. Maurice aims to achieve financial success for Searson Buck by providing the best possible work environment for staff and facilitating innovative solutions to meet the recruitment needs of clients.

Maurice is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
