Our client, Shearwater Resort has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager. Shearwater Resort is a boutique resort providing all facets of food service, event management, conference facilities, catering, functions & accommodation to a large range of customers.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible in assisting the General Manager to effectively manage the resort. In this hands-on role, you will also be responsible for the financials, human resources, marketing and OH&S management, Food and Beverage Management and all facets of the resorts timeshare. You will be required to lead and motivate a team of staff whilst instilling a positive culture within the workforce.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a thorough and extensive background in resort or hotel management across all aspects of operations. You will hold formal qualifications in hospitality or business management and have the ability to obtain and hold a Tatts and liquor licence. You will also be required to have advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, as well as experience in accounting and reservation packages.
