  • Nick Prokopiec

    Chief Executive Officer

    Nick has over 20 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, training and HR management across the civil construction, FMCG and pharmaceutical industries in Tas, Vic and SA.

    Nick has demonstrated his ability to build productive and enduring relationships with key stakeholders. He understands the importance of identifying a client’s needs, the candidate’s motive and matching these to the requirements of the role. He is an active councillor on the Vic/Tas RCSA Council, holds membership to AHRI and is a sitting board member of St Virgils' College.


  • Heidi Bresler

    Group Financial Controller

    Heidi joined Searson Buck several years ago, having come from a private practice accounting and strata management background. Heidi oversees Searson Buck’s internal and external payroll, with up to 300 employees on the payroll each week.

    She is very experienced and knowledgeable across all accounting and finance functions, from the delivery of accurate financial reporting, payroll, creation of group and divisional budgets and all IT and corporate services functions for the organisation.

    Heidi enjoys working through complex projects and can always be relied upon to provide a high level of analysis and detail to all tasks she works through. In addition to holding post graduate qualifications in accounting, Heidi has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Asian languages.


  • Michael Gilmore

    Regional Recruitment Manager South 

    Michael joins Searson Buck with extensive operational management and sales leadership experience in the transport and logistics sector as well as project leadership in the medical industry and management experience in small business. He began his career in Melbourne, but he has called Tasmania home since 2005 and he is passionate about supporting growth, driving improvement and building productive, strong relationships.

    Understanding the value of a strong team, Michael is excited to support the delivery of exceptional candidates to blue collar and white collar roles across southern Tasmania.  


  • Susan Renton

    Regional Recruitment Manager North 

    Susan is a committed and passionate leader who is responsible for our North and North-West recruitment teams and brings with her over 30 years of commercial and corporate experience. She is focussed on delivering excellent client engagement, developing strong relationships, whilst driving results that meet our client and candidate’s needs. She has held management positions in financial services, contact centre, wealth management and not for profit sectors within Tasmania.

    Susan’s areas of expertise include leadership, business development, coaching, financial management, wealth management along with delivery of project and change management outcomes.

     


  • Matthew Buse

    Safety & Risk Advisor  

    Matt has formal qualifications in Bachelor of Health Science and Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety. He also brings a breadth of industry and role experience with him. Matt’s ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions has helped contribute to implementing effective control measures & improving the safety culture.

    Matt is a people-orientated individual and brings a unique approach to engaging with stakeholders around safety and risk.

     

 


  • Justin Johnstone

    Project Administrator - Career Connector Program

    Working within the Projects team, Justin facilitates initiatives for Searson Buck, primarily focused on the Tourism and Hospitality industry, and their programs supported by the Tasmanian State Government. He has extensive experience working in the Tourism, Hospitality and the Arts sectors here in Tasmania having worked in management at Mona, with the Federal Group at The Henry Jones Art Hotel and at Peppermint Bay. Originally from Melbourne, he has also lived and worked in Sydney and in London and has developed a comprehensive understanding of the needs of both business and candidates working or seeking work in these industries. He has knowledge of recruitment, training and delivering projects in the area of skills and jobs matching with a focus on providing a high standard of service. When it comes to recruitment, he enjoys the diverse range of both candidates and clients, hearing their stories, and supporting them to find pathways to connect and achieve their respective goals.  


  • Chris Bloss

    Recruitment Consultant - Nurseline

    Chris is passionate about Business & People. He holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and has Certifications in Business, Leadership and Management and a Diploma in Human Resources from Australian Pacific College. Chris has a solid career in Brazil recruiting for White-collar over 7-years where he could build his knowledge in different industries and recruit for a wide variety of business areas, such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, HR, Health Care and others. Chris is a people-oriented person and his passion for Recruitment is shown with his ability to match candidates and clients, great candidate care, and innovative thinking in the recruitment process and projects.


  • Greg Haimandos

    Key Account Manager

    Greg Haimandos, our Key Account Manager in the North and Northwest region brings over 10 years’ experience in a laboratory, sales and account management business environment within the steel & engineering and recruitment industries. Having completed his Bachelor of Applied Science ( Materials Science ) from the University of Technology, Sydney, Greg has a thorough understanding of the complexities involved to meet manufacturing project requirements and deadlines.He specialises in finding the right people with the right qualifications, background experience and credentials for engineering, manufacturing and infrastructure projects. Greg delivers excellence through initiative, pro-activity and commitment to find the right personnel.


  • Travis Bugg

    Recruitment Consultant

    Travis is an experienced Recruitment Consultant who brings with him a proven track record recruiting within the blue collar and trades environments. Travis has a background working in Engineering and Mining Maintenance fields and holds a Fitting and Machinist trade qualification. Travis has a strong understanding of the blue collar environment which enables him to deliver excellent outcomes and develop positive relationships to both the Client and Candidates.


  • Sharon Miller

    Executive Recruitment and Search Consultant

    Sharon is a consistently high performer, drawing on substantial knowledge and experience from several industries. Her background includes people management, career management, coaching, training, sales performance, recruitment, policy and procedure development, HR services and driving organisational change.

    Having worked in both blue and white collar environments Sharon is able to adapt and relate to her clients, building rapport quickly. She is dynamic, enjoys helping people, and is very results focused.

    Sharon has a Bachelor of Commerce completed at the University of Tasmania, Certificate 4 in Business, accredited as a CPI Career Transition Consultant and an Associate member of Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA).


  • Adityo Nurikhsan

    HR Associate

    Adityo has formal qualifications in Bachelor of Automotive Engineering and Master of Human Resource Management. He has dedicated his career in recruitment and engineering consultant and has been involved in several engineering industries such as Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Transportation and Civil/Construction.

    He is a dynamic and a people-oriented person. Adityo believes that communication and mindfulness are the keys in providing the right service to his candidates and clients.


  • Lucas Sversut

    Recruitment Consultant

    Lucas is a motivated professional, able to offer his experience to help people find the best opportunities in the market and organisations find the best candidates to their roles. Extensive experience working in the workforce/blue collar sector. Lucas has a strong work ethic with a can-do and professional attitude, with highly developed organisational skills. His differential is to act effectively in problem solving, presenting innovative solutions.

    Having a large experience in the workforce sector, Lucas worked with the civil construction industry, manufacturing industry and retail for many years giving him the knowledge of the company’s workforce environment and proceeds to deliver the best services for our clients, attending their needs and combine the candidate’s skills with the company’s profile. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management which gives him the capacity of managing clients and candidates in the best way.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Alec has a genuine passion for ensuring the best outcome for the candidates and clients he works with and has developed a strong capacity to resolve recruitment obstacles and challenges. He takes pride in his ability to identify potential and consistently operates with both integrity and courage.

    Since commencing at Searson Buck he has worked within a dynamic team, managing a thorough recruitment process, taking ownership and accountability for the attraction, selection and placement of applicants.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Twinkle is an energetic, passionate, and open-mined Human Resources professional with extensive experience working in HR teams across Melbourne and Sydney managing recruitment and retention priorities. Twinkle is committed to channelling her passion for Human Resources to ensure client operations run smoothly and deliver maximum value to the client.

    Twinkle holds a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance and a Master of Business Administration – Human Resource Management and aims to put this knowledge into practice by effectively fulfilling client needs.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Jess is a Recruitment Consultant, part of the White-Collar Temporary and Fixed-term recruitment team, based in Hobart. With 10 years of experience within the retail and transport industries, she is eager to utilise her skill set to best serve her clients and candidates. Her time working within the Transport Industry has provided her with knowledge in client services, marketing, bookkeeping, recruitment, and a broad range of administrative tasks.

    Since starting with Searson Buck it has been her aim to foster positive relationships and connect her clients with talented and professional candidates within her team. She always aims to keep an open mind and thinks ahead, looking for a solution that will assist her clients in achieving success within their businesses.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Tarryn is a highly skilled, customer focused consultant with 17 years of outstanding customer service experience. Having worked in the hospitality, education and health sectors Tarryn brings to this role an extensive network to realise opportunities.

    She enjoys working with people and supports the achievement of their goals through dedication and genuine care. Building and maintaining these meaningful relationships with colleagues, clients and candidates is what motivates her. Tarryn additionally has extensive administration and management skills coupled with a strong work ethic and professionalism.

    Recruitment Consultant

    Dirk has had 16 years in various positions within his family-owned Logistics company prior to moving to Australia. Being a passionate problem solver and dedicated to delivering customer service excellence, he is relentless in his commitment to providing the best service possible to both internal and external stakeholders. Building trust with both his candidates and clients is paramount to Dirk and is building a strong network within northern Tasmania.

    His studies in Marketing and Community Relations combined with expertise in safety, health, environment, & quality enables him to navigate complex challenges.

A professional with over 7 years’ experience in the Transport industry in Brazil, Jane decided to move to Australia for a new adventure where she felt even more the need for connection.

    In Australia several years now, she has worked in all levels of Hospitality, and understands the importance of great customer service. Jane is driven by positive relationships and what comes with them: great connections, opportunities, and innovative ideas. With an enthusiastic and professional approach, she connects talent with clients.
