About the role:

You will experience unprecedented work-life balance in this Monday to Friday role.
The primary responsibility of a Registered Nurse is to provide nursing services within a general practice context, enhancing the quality and delivery of healthcare to patients.

  • Provide quality clinical nursing services to patients under the direction of the Doctor or Registered Nurse.
  • Nursing services to be carried out in line with individual scope of practice and assessed competency, as per the competency index below.
  • Work as a collaborative member of the practice team; establishing good working relationships with Nurses, Reception team, the Practice Manager and Centre Doctors.
  • Assist in building and retaining the patient base at the Centre through a high level of customer focus and adherence to strict confidentiality and privacy legislation.
  • Practice within the medical centre's nursing policies and procedures framework, in order to provide safe, quality nursing care.
  • Timely documentation and completion of all nursing duties and checklists.
  • Report all incidents and potential hazards immediately.
  • Patient records are thorough, up to date, and meet relevant standards and requirements.


About You:

  • Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Completion of CPR training within the last 2 years
  • Fully Immunised for Covid-19
  • Immunisation History (Vaccination Record Card for HCW)
