Shift Sharer

With only a few days to go until Christmas, the weather improving, and Tasmania’s borders now open the busy holiday season is well underway.

At Searson Buck we’re pleased to share news that the Shift Sharer service is well and truly active. Shift Sharer, supported by the Tasmanian Government, is a free service designed to connect tourism and hospitality businesses with spare shifts that need to be filled with available and experienced workers. The list of businesses getting involved is growing steadily. Enthusiastic employees of all ages and levels of experience are connecting with us and we’re working hard to match their availability with the needs of local businesses.

This time of year in Tasmania brings a lot of visitors with a range of special events so the tourism and hospitality sector will be operating at a higher pace than we have seen for a while. It is hoped that There will be an increased need for the Shift Sharer program with its potential to benefit both job seekers and local businesses.
