Are you an experienced procurement, contracts, or grants professional looking to make a meaningful contribution within local government?
We are seeking a proactive Procurement & Grants Officer to coordinate procurement activities, contract administration, and grant funding preparation functions that support the delivery of important community projects.
Reporting to the Manager Finance, this role plays a key part in ensuring procurement processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with legislative and policy requirements while identifying and managing funding opportunities that benefit the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing procurement and tender processes in accordance with Council policies and legislation.
- Coordinating contract administration and financial controls.
- Identifying, preparing and managing grant applications and acquittals.
- Monitoring funding milestones and reporting requirements.
- Supporting financial reporting, auditing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building positive working relationships across council departments and external stakeholders.
