About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our team in Burnie and surrounding areas of Tasmania. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in acute care, community care, aged care, and Palliative Care settings, providing high-quality nursing care to patients with a diverse range of healthcare needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertaking assessment and developing individualised care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and health status.
• Educating patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, other nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Providing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

About You:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working in acute care, aged care, or community care settings.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide high-quality nursing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Experience working with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
